Yes.
egcs is becoming more and more gmake-desiring. The VPATH stuff requires
gmake completely.

Hate to spoil the supper, but that's how it is now. :-/
(Pmake doesn't seem to get the dependencies right, either, which is odd,
but yet another reason to use gmake in this case.)
