Hi,

After the great news on SMP/alpha I'd thought I'd give SMP/i386 a
shot. I compiled a kernel with the SMP-sommerfeld-branch and -current
(needed to fix some minor things to get it to compile) and got a
kernel up and running in multi-user mode. However starting a make
build together with another make caused a panic. Subsequent reboot
failed to complete fsck properly with apparently the same problem
(root disk gets fsck-ed properly, but it panics on the other
filesystems; probably because those cause parallel fsck jobs to be
started?). Here's what the log says before the panic happens:

dmesg output is attached. Is this a known problem? Should I send-pr
this? Please, CC me on replies as I'm still in the process of
suscribing to this list... Thanks...

Feico.
