Can $HOME be used?
It's already there (usually...) and doesn't need creating. I don't know if 
our magic symlinks support that.

Also: with the ever-growing number of security features in NetBSD, I think 
it would be nice to have some overview somewhere that points to the 
various things (like the one you proposed) and where to find more 
information. Maybe a place for this could be (a reworked 
version/additional page of)
