Hi,

In the projects page put up for Google's Summer of Code, there's an
entry for filesystem ACLs based on the posix1e specification.

FreeBSD implemented these on top of extended attributes in UFS2,
something which NetBSD didn't import along with the rest of UFS.

This raises two questions for me:

1. Why was it decided to implement filesystem ACLs based on the posix1e
   specification?

2. Is the project really implementing extended attributes and then the
ACLs code, or doing ACLs in some other way?

Thanks,

-e.
