Just to make this discussion a little less theoretical, I'm running
the modified ftpd software on ftp.cynic.net, and I've created a
directory called /incoming for uploads. Feel free to log in and
muck about with it. If you find any holes, let me know right away.

(If the machine is down, let me know via private e-mail. It's a
4/110 and seems to have a problem with crashes that I've not tracked
down yet.)
