Did you make any headway stuffing NetBSD into a Cybiko?  Myself I'm thinking
the limited ram is going to be a major bottleneck.

Annother thought, these rigs are rather programable, and come in USB and
Serial port varients.  While they may not run NetBSD directly, I bet they
could be interfaced with NetBSD easily enough as cheap/slow wireless nics...
