That looks like very useful progress to me.  I don't know if LGPL 2.1 is
really needed, but it seems likely that one of our pacakges uses it, and
you've already done the work, so sure, include it.  We have 88 licenses
now, and it's probably going to 120 with the free ones, so one more
doesn't hurt much.
