Currently, I'm doing an unregistered build for amd64 using a lightly
modified tarball of hc files from OpenBSD/amd64.  I'm wondering:

-- Could I turn object splitting on if I set WRAPPER_UPDATE_CACHE=no
and WRAPPER_DEBUG=no?  Is there any way to turn wrapper logging off
completely?  That would be more helpful.

-- Is it acceptable to set WRAPPER_UPDATE_CACHE=no in a package?

-- My bootstrap compiler is version 6.2.2.  Is this OK, or should I
generate a new set of hc files prior to submitting my results
(assuming this beast compiles OK)?
