Hej fellow pkg-people,

what is needed to close the problem in PR #35488 - a pullup request? The
attached patch works and doesn't seem to break anything. I am just
asking as the way of fixing bugs is something I haven't understood so
far. I thought a pullup request can only be sent by someone who can
commit the changes. Can someone clarify this for me?
