Hi Everyone,
I'm sorry to repost this, but this problem is still not resolved on my
system and I'm at a loss. It would be an enormous help to get pkgsrc
usable on AIX. Is nobody else seeing this?
. gmake Builds ok
. gcc3-c Builds ok
. gcc3-c++ builds/configures/builds/configures forever. never completes.
In mk.conf, I have...
DISTDIR?= /usr/pkg/distfiles
PACKAGES?= /usr/pkg/obj/packages
WRKOBJDIR= /usr/pkg/obj
PKGCHK_CONF= /etc/pkgchk.conf
PKG_SYSCONFBASE=/etc
# USE_NATIVE_GCC=yes
# CC=gcc
# Configure scripts don't always get this right
MACHINE_GNU_PLATFORM=powerpc-ibm-aix5.3.0.0
.include "/usr/pkg/gcc3/mk/c.mk"
CHECK_SHLIBS=no
RENAME=
USE_GCC3=yes
PKGMAKECONF=${MAKECONF}
DEPENDS_TARGET=package
... I've tried telling pkgsrc which gcc to use a few different ways:
. USE_NATIVE_GCC=yes
. CC=/opt/freeware/bin/gcc
. .include "/usr/pkg/gcc3/mk/c.mk"
... all produce the same results.
Any help would be fantastic,
Thanks (again)
Louis
