You don't.  If the packages depending on suse_* are still in your
pkgchk.conf, pkg_chk will install them, and their dependencies (now
suse10_*), even though those dependencies are not in pkgchk.conf.  

In fact, I often list just my leaf-packages in a pkgchk.conf for this
reason; this way I can change the dependencies (using options and variables
like SUSE_PREFER) without having to change my pkgchk.conf.

The bulk builds will still use suse91_* (for now), since the default for
SUSE_PREFER is 9.1.
