Hello,
on systems running Postfix, I'm getting some warnings in the maillogs
when shutting down the system:
Feb 21 15:50:50 grouper postfix/master[565]: warning: process /usr/pkg/libexec/postfix/qmgr pid 567 killed by signal 1
Feb 21 15:50:50 grouper postfix/master[565]: warning: process /usr/pkg/libexec/postfix/pickup pid 22976 killed by signal 1
Feb 21 15:50:50 grouper postfix/master[565]: warning: process /usr/pkg/libexec/postfix/anvil pid 11688 killed by signal 1
Feb 21 15:50:50 grouper postfix/master[565]: warning: process /usr/pkg/libexec/postfix/trivial-rewrite pid 16718 killed by signal 1
Feb 21 15:50:50 grouper postfix/master[565]: warning: process /usr/pkg/libexec/postfix/smtpd pid 15917 killed by signal 1
Feb 21 15:50:50 grouper postfix/master[565]: warning: process /usr/pkg/libexec/postfix/cleanup pid 26529 killed by signal 1
Feb 21 15:50:50 grouper postfix/master[565]: warning: process /usr/pkg/libexec/postfix/lmtp pid 12728 killed by signal 1
IMHO the postfix rc script should contain a `# KEYWORD: shutdown' to
shut down the mail system correctly...
Shouldn't it?
Cheers, Jukka
