2.3 is the development version for what will become 2.4, the next
stable release.  So I expect the gimp24 package to be updated along
2.3.x and then 2.4.0, until some point that there is a rename from
gimp to gimp22 and gimp24 to gimp.

I added a note to DESCR - often when there are similar packages what
I really want to know is which is which.
