Is it still a problem to have X11BASE=/usr, or to have $X11BASE
contained in $LOCALBASE? (could lead to issues with string
replacements?)
bootstrap for OSF1 and IRIX creates a link /usr/X11R6 to /usr to avoid
having X11BASE=/usr, it seems.
This won't work for unpriviledged installs though.
Would it be a better idea to have a link ${LOCALBASE}/X11R6 pointing to
user and setting X11BASE=${LOCALBASE}/X11R6?
Or would we just run into the same issue just the other way round since
${LOCALBASE} would be contained in ${X11BASE}?
