Of course there will be backward compat, for a time -- so that you can
still install old binary packages.
However, I want to discourage the use of @exec, so I'd like to drop
support for it during the generation of new binary packages (i.e. in
PLIST files in pkgsrc). Of course, I plan to sweep for this.
