Attempting to build mail/imap-uw on MacOS X 10.3.9, I get:

Stop.

It looks to me that PKG_OPTIONS_VAR is being conditionally defined (in a
way I do not quite understand), so that the

	.include "../../mk/bsd.options.mk"

is out of place?
