I make a small change to config_office/set_soenv, copying some i386
text:

   elsif ($machine_type eq "amd64")
   {  print "Setting NetBSD AMD64 specific values... ";
      $outfile        = "NetBSDIntelEnv.Set";
      $CPU            = "I";
      $CPUNAME        = "INTEL";
      $DLLSUFFIX      = "bi";
      $OUTPATH        = "unxbsdi";
      $JRELIBDIR      = '$JAVA_HOME'.$ds."jre".$ds."lib".$ds."amd64";
      $JRETOOLKITDIR  = '$JAVA_HOME'.$ds."jre".$ds."lib".$ds."amd64".$ds."client
";
      $JRETHREADDIR   = '$JAVA_HOME'.$ds."jre".$ds."lib".$ds."amd64".$ds."native
_threads";
   }

It is now compiling, we'll see where it stops.
