Hello!

I recently tried to use pkgsrc on Tru64 to install meta-pkgs/gnome. Generally
it seems to work quite well, but I have filed some PR's along the way and
tried to quickfix those issues. I could not find any documentation about what
OSF1.x11.dist is used for nor about how I could meaningfully generate it
so right now I'm stuck.

The PR's I filed are the following:

pkg/31416 [serious/low]:	glib-2.6.6nb1 fails to compile on Tru64
pkg/31440 [serious/low]: MesaLib-6.2.1nb2 fails to build on Tru64
pkg/31444 [serious/low]: tiff-3.7.3 fails to compile on Tru64
pkg/31447 [serious/low]: libgcrypt-1.2.1 fails to build on Tru64
pkg/31449 [serious/low]: mk/platform/OSF1.x11.dist is missing - affects Tru64

Is there any well-organized documentation like the pkgsrc guide about
how to create a new port of pkgsrc, including information about what
those mk/platform/*.dist are doing, what they have to contain, etc?
I couldn't find anything but maybe I'm just too lame at searching...

Regards,

Szabolcs
