It is assigned in build.conf which is a shell script.

post-build runs build.conf. So FTP has different values.

I actually saw it on my bulk build before I emailed about it.

pkgbox:/home/pkgsrc> ls -l /build/reed.jail.preview/home/reed/pkgstat/{20050921.0402,20050921.1526,20050922.1701}
/build/reed.jail.preview/home/reed/pkgstat/20050921.0402:

/build/reed.jail.preview/home/reed/pkgstat/20050921.1526:
total 33
-rw-r--r--  1 root  wheel  33047 Sep 22 10:09
pkgsrc-results-2005-09-22.txt

/build/reed.jail.preview/home/reed/pkgstat/20050922.1701:
total 883

I am not sure how 20050921.0402 got created. It is empty.

The text file got put in 20050921.1526 -- this FTP was set before the
build.

And the post-build created and populated 20050922.1701.

This is the part that identifies it:

pkgbox:/home/pkgsrc> grep 20050922.1701 /build/reed.jail.preview/home/reed/pkgstat/20050921.1526/pkgsrc-results-2005-09-22.txt
