Looks like overriding that does the job.  Thanks.

I dropped "L" for the filenames, and "a" since I didn't use -a when
extracting to make the original build, so my patches are against
files without EOL conversion.

Of course, now I have to convert the patches all back to mixed-case,
including the diffed-against-/dev/null Makefile.  (And, now that
I'm thinking about a package, I see that I should consider using
the GNU auto* stuff.  Building by hand, I just had to get the
resulting binary to pop out and then ran it...)


Should I still see this as a pkgsrc bug(let), or should I consider
this an acceptable solution to the problem?
