Each of these choices has its advantages. Using options keeps the
number of packages small. Using separate packages gives the possibility
to "upgrade" from nox11 to x11 or from nogui to gui respectively.
Anything else?

However, it's probably a good idea to reach a consensus on this topic
and then to change the packages in question...
