That perl sure is fine when just perl is needed. But when perl modules are 
about to be installed, this may lead to problems eventually, as it's not 
known in what condition that perl is, exactly. We ran into many problems 
with software from outside pkgsrc, and decided to use most things from 
pkgsrc (with a few exceptions).
