does anyone know why devel/doxygen depend on python?

The docygen website lists the following dependencies in order to take FULL=
=20
advantage of this utility:

 =A0* flex
=A0 * bison
=A0 * make
=A0 * perl
=A0 * qt
=A0 * teTeX
=A0 * graphviz
=A0 * ghostscript

No mentioning of python

The removal of this dependency had no obvious impact during the configurati=
on,=20
build and installation process of doxygen.
