I forgot to mention that the problem appears to be in pkgsrc "stable"
branch too.

I guess in that case a PKGREVISION could be added to
sysutils/gnome-vfs2/Makefile and sysutils/gnome-vfs2/buildlink3.mk
add a line:
BUILDLINK_DEPENDS.gnome-vfs2+=	gnome-vfs2>=2.8.4nb1

How do you request a pullup when you don't have same patch in current
first?
