Hi,

Is there any easy way to tell what license a given package comes
under? For most (at least the ones I care about and have tried)
packages, make show-license shows nothing. I assume that means
"open source", but, in particular, I wondering if there's a way
to tell packages which are BSD vs. GPL (and I _don't_ want to
start a too-many-times-rehashed-flame-war; I'm not arguing
merits, I just want to be able to tell which I'm using); or,
given that there are (presumably) many packages which are under
modified versions of some "standard" license, even a way to see
the text of the associated license?

TIA,
Chris
