When I try to build audio/xine-arts, I get the following error:

  configure: error: conditional "HAVE_XV" was never defined.
  Usually this means the macro was only invoked conditionally.

It refers me to config.log and work/.work.log; I don't see any other 
useful informatio in those files.  If it matters, I'm running on 
-current.
