Alistair and others,
For the upcoming pkgsrc quarterly branch, could we have a tar file of
the final product? Installing the "current" version of pkgsrc is
simple because the dependencies, ftp, gunzip, and tar, are often
satisfied; however installing pkgsrc-2004Q3 requires one to have cvs
installed, which often isn't found in commercial operating systems.
It would be very convenient to have the following:
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/packages/pkgsrc-2004Q4.tar.gz
Thanks,
Ryan
