PR 26140 got assigned to linux-pkg-people but probably it applies to
others.

The fix says to use
http://cvsweb.netbsd.org/bsdweb.cgi/src/usr.bin/make/dir.c.diff?r1=1.37&r2=1.38
which is from last Sept. 2003. I don't see that fixed in
pkgsrc/bootstrap/bmake/dir.c.

Also usr.bin/make/dir.c Revision 1.42 (NetBSD not bootstrap) says: "Also
fix a few other warnings that PR#22118 shows when trying to compile bmake
on non-NetBSD hosts."

Who works on the bmake in bootstrap? Can someone look at updating it and
closing PR 26140?
