Hi,

I think I'm quite confused: a simple package that sets

USE_BUILDLINK3=3Dyes

ends up with empty LDFLAGS. Shouldn't it, at the very least, include
-Wl,-R/usr/pkg? (Well, the appropriate variables, of course, but
YKWIM.)

This seems to be the cause that, for example, ruby-base creates a binary
(at least under Linux) that doesn't find all the necessary libraries.

I seem to be having this tremendous difficulty with my lifestyle.
