Hi.
The configure stage of gimp takes about one hour and ten minutes in my syst=
em.
It is a pentium II 400mhz with 160Mb RAM, over a gigabyte of free space.
The top delaying process is sh on piperd state, eating no more than 3% of C=
PU time.
14938 cetrox -6 0 232K 720K piperd 0:00 2.57% 1.76% sh
Other sub-processes are make and sed, working fine.
I've seen this problem building several packages, what could it be?
