I don't have an answer, but I have the exact error on the screen right
now. I was building gnucash on Saturday and it died in the
/usr/pkgsrc/x11/gnome-libs build. This was under Linux with glibc. My
include/zconf.h is from the zlib-1.2.1 package. And I am using gcc 3.3.3.

I see similar error here

By the way, does anyone know if gnumeric and gnucash can use libgnome-2
instead of older gnome-libs ?
