... of course the one associated with X11_TYPE=XFree86.

I've found out, that on my machine (which has XFree86 from pkgsrc) changing
X11_TYPE to "native" (after XFree86 packages from pkgsrc were installed)
helps for that bl3 breakage, but that's a work-around.
