this should not apply to dynamically linked libs I guess, especially
if they are pretty genric, like libregex, and you ould drop in any
implementation.

Someone mentioned GNU rx. This one should have the same legal
implications?
But maybe since it is already there anyway it would be better to try to
use that one?
