No, I've checked some usual suspects e.g. "pkgsrc/mk/bsd.pkg.mk" or
"pkgsrc/x11/gnome-libs/buildlink2.mk" but couldn't find any related
changes there.

My guess is that this happens as soon as you've got "db4" installed
on your system which I didn't have before.
