Oh, not mailerconf(8) but mailerconf(5) or mailwrapper(8).

Then, USE_MAILWRAPPER like option may help.

And please note that installing bin/mailq and bin/newsyslog give
bad effect on a plathome that mailwrapper(8) is available.
