Yep, you caught me ... trying to shortcut that process. Alas, I
now went and updated the entire pkgsrc tree, with the result that
attempting to make anything errors with "The package tools
installed on this system are out of date", and in pkg_install
make with any target (clean, distclean, install, update) with or
without USETOOLS=no results in the above attempt (and failure) to
use pkg_info when building package_info.
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
