If anyone's inclined to hack on this package, the thing to do would be
to update and simplify the package, letting the configure script (and
buildlink) work out reasonable per-platform defaults for the choice of
screen library. [The original motivation for letting the user choose
at build-time is long past, as NetBSD curses has had color support
since before NetBSD 1.5.]
