you can force installation with -f ;)
this is because pkg_add needs to know the operating system name
according to pkgsrc at compile time, and it defaults to "NetBSD"
(I think I will get rid of that, though).
I believe I've fixed this in pkg_install now, could you please
update pkgtools/pkg_install and rebuild it?
