On some of my machines I mount my pkgsrc with NFS. (I also have a separate
NFS mount for my distfiles.)

Then I use WRKOBJDIR to point to some directory that is local on the
machine (and set OBJHOSTNAME to yes so work.`hostname` is used) for the
actual building. It seems like it would be way to slow to do the builds
over NFS too.
