I want to package an X font up (ProFont, see:
http://www.tobias-jung.de/seekingprofont/) but I'm at a loss about how
to do it cleanly.

The font in question is delivered as a zip file that contains a few X
bitmap font files -- I am not even clear on where they should be
placed in an xpkgwedge world, let alone how to rig things so that
they'll be properly mkfontdired etc.

Could someone give me some ideas on how to do this?
