I already often use it. And it sometimes creates patches that are
incompatible with different versions of patch.

It looks like it just uses normal "diff -u -p". I am wondering if there
are any switches to make different versions of patch be more compatible
with the different diff's made. (So maybe different patch options can be
used with pkgsrc?)
