Have you checked what gnome1-dirs is for? Have you checked its dependancies?
It depends on nothing except gnome-dirs. It is only used to handle the
shared directory share/gnome/apps/Games, where dopewars installs a file. If
you install gnome later, you will have the icon in the menu. I don' see how
it hurts. Check dopewars/PLIST cvs log for more information.
