It would be nice to have a script added to bootstrap-pkgsrc that quickly
checked for needed tools and libraries. And gives a friendly message
telling the user what is needed.

I can write a little script to do this.

For example, these are used ib pkgsrc installations:

 dc (I already packaged it with math/bc)
 file (I already package it too)

awk
sed

It can also check for curses, ncurses, etc and give suggestions.
