I installed glade2 package from pkgsrc.  First I had to install gail
(missing dependency?) and after that, glade whines it can't find any
fonts.  I ktraced it and found out that the fontconfig is looking for
"fonts.cache-1" files in every X11 font directory.  On my system, no
such files exist and glade spits out an error message and exits.

What am I missing?  (Besides a working brain, that is.)
