I just rebuilt xmame to the latest and greatest, and where I was getting
full-speed tempest, I'm now getting 7 fps.

8bpp and 16bpp dump core.

Complaints about Xv mode not working, falling back to yuv and yv12
mode, neither of which work.

What am I doing wrong?  It's 2:00 in the morning and I can't track this
down.
