a quick study shows that the following pkgs (or Makefiles, at least):

	pkgsrc/databases/unixodbc/Makefile.common
	pkgsrc/devel/kdesdk2/Makefile
	pkgsrc/devel/kdesdk3/Makefile
	pkgsrc/lang/guile/Makefile
	pkgsrc/lang/guile14/Makefile
	pkgsrc/mail/balsa/Makefile
	pkgsrc/mail/libesmtp/Makefile
	pkgsrc/security/libmcrypt/Makefile
	pkgsrc/textproc/aspell/Makefile
	pkgsrc/textproc/dict-client/Makefile
	pkgsrc/textproc/dict-server/Makefile
	pkgsrc/textproc/gtkspell/Makefile
	pkgsrc/textproc/libpspell/Makefile

include ../../devel/libtool/buildlink.mk, which gives the pkg an
explicit dependency on libtool (which means it needs to be removed and
rebuilt if libtool needs upgrading).

is this really necessary, or is there something special about these
pkgs that makes them actually require libtool in this manner?
