I had the following error compiling libgnomecanvas:

libtool: link:
`/home/cetrox/src/pkgsrc/graphics/libgnomecanvas/work/.buildlink-x11/lib/libintl.la'
is not a valid libtool archive

The content of the archive is:

==> [buildlink2] Error: buildlink2 leakage into
./.libs/libintl.lai
# libintl.la - a libtool library file
# Generated by ltmain.sh - GNU libtool 1.4a
(1.641.2.255 2001/05/22 10:39:30)
#
# Please DO NOT delete this file!
# It is necessary for linking the library.

# The name that we can dlopen(3).
dlname='libintl.so.0'

# Names of this library.
library_names='libintl.so.0.0 libintl.so.0 libintl.so
libintl.so'

# The name of the static archive.
old_library='libintl.a'

# Libraries that this one depends upon.
dependency_libs=''

# Version information for libintl.
current=0
age=0
revision=0

# Is this an already installed library?
installed=yes

# Files to dlopen/dlpreopen
dlopen=''
dlpreopen=''

# Directory that this library needs to be installed
in:
libdir='/usr/lib'

# This file has been modified by buildlink2.

So, it is not libintl.la. That file is on
/usr/pkg/lib.
The same thing happens with libfreetype.la sometimes,
what can I do?

thanks

César
