...something is right with your buildlink'ing.  Going to
pkgdir/work/.buildlink/include and see if the right stuff is getting pulled
in.  Make sure you're not setting LDFLAGS or CFLAGS as root when building in
pkgsrc.  Check the config.log of the packages.  Look for other crazy
environmental variables that may be set to bogus values (strange strange
STRANGE things happen when tracking -current)
