In addition (and for more reference points), this breaks gtexinfo due to

 o ./configure testing for the existance of -lcposix, and bizarrely not
   barfing, causing problems later (I definitely *don't* have it).

 o ./configure also not able to pick up -lcurses, so having the same as
   aforementioned problems (undefined tget* symbols).
