Hello

Lets say a program is by default written in french, although it provides
a locale translation for english (trough gettext). I'm talking about
gcompressor, btw. Well, should the package be modified (if possible) to
use english by default (i.e, if no LANG is provided)?

I'm not sure if this can be easily done, but well, just a doubt ;)
